My name is Julio Agouborde Monsalves. I’m chilean and I’m a guide in Patagonia, I’m the founder of this project, which I wanted to realize a long time, called Patagonietrekking. In love with the mountain and more particularly of the wild and preserved nature of Chilean and Argentine Patagonia, I am the founder of Patagonietrekking.

TESTIMONIES
Hello, in August 2024, we traveled to northern Chile and Bolivia. For 2 weeks and with 6 friends, we contacted Julio from Patagonietrekking, recommended by our friends who traveled to Patagonia in 2023. Itinerary adapted to our budget. The Chilean Altiplano, Lake Chungara in the Arica region, the magnificent Salar de Surire... The most anticipated were the Salar de Uyuni and Laguna Colorada in Bolivia, Sud Lipez and San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. The drivers and guides made this trip fantastic. We were worried about the altitude, but we adapted well because the change was gradual. The highlands at 4,500 meters were a bit cold but wonderful. Discovering Bolivia in this solitude allowed us to connect with Andean nature. Recommended trip. We will return to Patagonia in 2025. Hasta Pronto Julio.
We just returned from a 15-day trip to Chile organized and managed by Julio of Patagonie Trekking. We shared our dreams with him, and he made them come true. Julio isn't just a guide; he has become a friend over the years. We plan to travel to Peru and Bolivia with him within the next two years. Julio is truly professional, right down to checking our luggage in Santiago. Berta and Christophe from Paris.
A superb 15-day trip to Chile in early March. We arrived in Santiago, then spent 5 days in San Pedro de Atacama (Valley of the Moon, the Atacama Salt Flats, El Tatio Geysers, etc.). Valparaiso and southern Patagonia (Magdalena Island, Torres del Paine National Park, Grey Glacier).
Everything was well organized, from airport pickup and drop-off to hotels and excursions, and the guides were great. We went with Patagonietrekking, managed by Julio: +1:
We just spent 12 days in Patagonia with our guide Julio Agouborde of Patagonietrekking. We wanted to express our satisfaction with Julio. He was able to tailor our trip according to our wishes. He was able to meet our expectations, and the fact that he speaks French was very helpful. We have nothing but positive things to say about him, and we intend to use his services again on a future trip.
Hello. Having just returned from 3 weeks in Chile with friends, we completely fell under the spell of this magnificent country. We chose to visit northern and southern Patagonia, including the famous Carretera Austral and Torres del Paine National Park, and also made a short foray into Argentine Patagonia. The trip was a great success thanks to the organization of Julio, a local Chilean guide who speaks perfect French. He was able to make this trip unforgettable, based on the budget we had set for him and the essential places we wanted to see. He has perfect knowledge of the area and a wealth of information about the history and culture of his country. He is always available, always in a good mood, and very attentive. In short, we absolutely loved this guide, whom we confidently recommend.
I would like to recommend and thank Julio and his agency Patagonietrekking. A magnificent trip full of memories: southern Chile, the Lake District, Chiloé Island, Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. A dreamlike and wonderful journey. Thank you so much, Julio, for sharing your passion for Patagonia with me. I was delighted to be with you and, why not, for other adventures in Bolivia and Peru. A big thank you, especially for your professionalism. Everything went as planned! See you soon.
To the sound of salsa and a bowl of mate, Julio Agouborde introduced us to Chile, its history, its people, its fauna, its flora, and its wonderfully varied landscapes. He knew how to plan a trip that met our expectations. The fact that Julio speaks French was a great help to us. Thanks to his excellent organization, we fully enjoyed our stay and plan to return with Patagonietrekking next year. Thank you to him for these wonderful times.
We are two Spaniards from the Canary Islands who traveled through Chile during the first week of December. We would like to thank and highlight the excellent organizational skills of Julio and his team in visiting Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. We had a wonderful experience with your agency, Patagonietrekking. Julio organized a wonderful tour of Patagonia for us. We took excursions to Torres del Paine, Milodon, Magdalena Island, Perito Moreno Glacier, and the city of Punta Arenas. He has extensive knowledge of the region, as well as its geography and flora and fauna. We highly recommend Patagonietrekking for your trip to Chilean or Argentine Patagonia. Julio is an excellent organizer and always pays attention to the smallest details. In short, if you want a guide who will give you a good itinerary, know what he's doing, and solve everything, Inconvenience, Julio and his agency Patagonietrekking. See you soon in Bolivia in 2023.
"We just spent 5 weeks in northern Chile, Bolivia, Chilean Patagonia, and Argentina (from October 20 to November 23, 2022, 35 days of travel) with a small Chilean agency managed by a Chilean who lives in Puerto Natales, and we are very satisfied. The organization was flawless, both before and during our trip. We were a group of 5 people in northern Chile and 6 people on the Carretera Austral, Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. A knowledgeable guide in Julio, always attentive to our needs, greatly contributed to the smooth running of the trip, with the restaurants, excursions, places visited, etc. The tour was perfectly suited to the 5 weeks and was nothing like what agencies offer in France. Excellent drivers: Edwin in northern Chile, Oscar and Erick in South Lipez in Bolivia, Américo in Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. The accommodation and hotels were of high quality. A very friendly tour guide and very interesting local guides allowed us to discover Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina in excellent conditions. We can only recommend this reliable and professional agency in every way. Thank you, Julio, and see you soon.."

We just finished a trip to Chile (November 26-30, 2022, to Torres del Paine National Park). We spent 6 days in Chilean Patagonia with a very friendly, attentive, and dynamic guide. His name is Julio, a Chilean who speaks excellent French. He has a small local agency in Puerto Natales and works as a local guide in Chilean Patagonia, organizing trips to northern Chile, Bolivia, and Peru.
And if you'd like to visit Chile, Bolivia, or Peru, don't hesitate to contact him. Thank you, Basque Julio, and see you soon.
Hi everyone, Patagonietrekking is a small local agency run by Julio, a Chilean guide who speaks French, which is rare among local guides and agencies. The contact in France gave us confidence to take a trip to Patagonia with him. Tailor-made circuit according to our wishes, our budget and our expectations that have been largely satisfied. Julio is very receptive, professional, discreet, measured, efficient and always in a good mood. He has a perfect knowledge of the terrain. For our circuit that took place in the first half of March 2020, it adapted and offered us other alternatives to the day-to-day circuit, following the restrictive information from the Chilean authorities with the rapid spread of Covid-19 in the country. He is a 5-star guide whom we confidently recommend. If Chile and Patagonia are your next destinations, contact him; you won't be disappointed.
